It's never too late for adventure

Eager for fresh air, country paths and adventure, we set off after work. We passed old gas works, and playing fields full of memories before we found our sanctuary. There is something so special about being up high, seeing paths trail off into the distance, plotting future adventures in our minds and seeing distant paths we've travelled before.

It wasn't long before our stomachs were grumbling at us, luckily we were near Smugglers fish and chip shop. We bought chips and curry sauce and eat them on the bench we often sit at with my amazing nan, overlooking the sea in Rottingdean.

We took the journey west slowly, passing the kind of sadness I hope none of us ever have to endure. When we got to Ovingdean our adventure on the rocks began. We hunted for crabs and collected rocks, traversing slippery seaweed and pools of water whose depth was hard to fathom.

I'm writing this from the desk, in the studio where my other adventures are happening. Some of these paths are less clear and there really aren't any maps, but that's what makes it an adventure.
