How to be an ally to a community

Back in 2019 salesforce.org got in touch. They wanted to make something that worked to support the concept of ‘gaming for good’. Gamers (and more recently streamers) have been raising funds and doing work for charities for years, so our first job was to research the history, and the trailblazers. We decided to create a series of podcasts that would act as an ally to the listener, to support and amplify others that wanted to get into Gaming for good. Rather than just create a chat podcast, we pulled together a team of producers, composers, sound designers, presenters and script writers to produce what we call a documentary style podcast. Along with the main podcast series, we created some bonus content including an episode focused on learning through play, and some live webinars.
